Word Hunt Free Update is now available

Word Hunt Free v1.1 hit the marketplace on February 11, 2011! This version includes major changes to the application.

After listening to user feedback about the limited number of words we have now incorporated a database of 15,000 words.

You can also see your overall progress towards the 15,000 words right on the main menu.

Another notable update has to do with the actual game play UI. The new and improved UI now makes tile selection much easier.

Textr v1.0 is out!

Good news! Textr v1.0 is approved and is now available in the marketplace for $0.99. Please check out the trial version before you buy as it may be sufficient for your needs if you do not need more than 3 canned text messages!

App Quality

Gold rush is over? In the past couple of weeks something good has been happening in the marketplace. It looks like the 4hour apps are decreasing in number in favor of more useful and well thought apps.

It was pretty sad to see how the first couple of weeks resembled a good rush where anyone who had access to any free content was creating free apps and publishing them. It looks like the 5 free submission is a good deterrent.

I hope to see more full featured apps in the next couple of months. More connected apps and less packaged content.

I too am changing course a little and starting to focus on some real utilities that I started to identify. The first item on this list will be ready in a week, stay tuned.
